CARPOOL REMINDER

Stay warm in carpool! Hang a sign to identify your student during morning drop off and afternoon pick up. Don't forget to wear your masks!

RE-ENROLLMENT BEGINS JANUARY 4th

Our current StMM families will be invited to re-enroll for the 2021-22 school year beginning Monday, January 4th. Re-enrollment fees are $425. Families who complete re-enrollment before Friday, February 12th will not only guarantee their child's seat for next year, they will only pay $200 upfront for each
re-enrollment. The balance will be attached to your tuition plan for the 2021-22 school year. After the February deadline, open seats will be offered to new applicants and current families will pay the full fee of $425 when they complete re-enrollment.

JANUARY NEW FAMILIES WEBEX

Coming on campus for the first time in January? Please mark your calendar for our New Families WebEx scheduled for Monday, January 4th at 12:00pm. We will review everything from carpool procedures to class supplies to ordering school lunches. This event is for new families and established Monarch families who were virtual for the first semester of school. Questions? Please contact Lydia Binanay.

Our next materials pick up date is Thursday, December 17th. Please use the lower, back entrance of the Activity Building near the cafeteria. Pick up times are:
PK-2nd: 11:30am-12:00pm
3rd-4th: 12:00-12:30pm
5th-6th: 12:30-1:00pm
7th-8th: 1:00-1:30pm

Our wonderful cafeteria crew is serving up a Christmas feast of carved ham and sides. Be sure to email your lunch to go order to Mrs. Blake by 1:00pm on Wednesday, December 16th.
CARDINAL GIBBONS CAMPUS TOURS

Cardinal Gibbons is offering more on-campus tours for 8th grade students and their families. They will be offered December 14th - 18th at 9:00am and 10:00am. They will also be adding tours every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon throughout January at 4:00pm. Tours will last approximately 45 minutes. Due to COVID restrictions families are limited to 3 people per family with a limit of 15 per group. Monarch Mondays Online Store Now Open!
Order your Monarch Mondays shirt or hoodie now to be ready for the start of 3rd Quarter!  Our first Monarch Monday will be January 11th, 2021.  We have long-sleeve and short-sleeve options in performance or cotton, and all shirts are available in youth and adult sizes. We also offer hoodies! The online store will be open through the end of the school year, but order early to have your package arrive before January 11th. All shirts will be shipped directly to your home.

As a reminder, with a Monarch Mondays shirt or hoodie, your child will get a special spirit day EVERY MONDAY in the 3rd and 4th Quarters! They may wear their shirt or hoodie to school with the bottoms of their choice, following the school's guidelines. As an added bonus, sales of the Monarch Mondays shirts help the PSO continue programming and fund outdoor recess improvements at the school. Order one for the whole family to support the PSO! 

We'd also like to see our online learners participate in this special school spirit event every Monday! Be on the lookout for Monarch Mondays photo contests coming soon. If you have questions about ordering your shirt, please contact Kelley Ann Ward.
We'd like to thank our family and business sponsors again for generously donating to the fundraiser. Please show your appreciation by supporting their businesses. If you are a sponsor, the PSO will order your free shirts for you and deliver them to school (in the classroom, or with materials pickup) in early January. For Maroon and Gold level sponsors, your spotlight or group posts will begin in January.  Thank you! If you have questions about your sponsor shirt order or thank-you posts, please contact Erin Bonasso.

It's not too late to donate a shirt to a teacher!  The PSO is giving free Monarch Mondays shirts to all StMM staff! The online link for teacher shirt donations will be open until 11:59pm on Monday, January 4th. 
Christmas Collection for Teachers and Staff
The PSO is organizing an optional Christmas collection for StMM teachers, TAs, specials teachers and staff. If you haven't been already, you will be contacted shortly by a classroom-level PSO representative for PK3-3, or a grade-level representative for 4-8. Used Uniform Store
Our Monarchs return to school on Wednesday, Jan. 6. The PSO will have the Used Uniform Store open on Tuesday, January 5th from 5-6:00pm in the school lobby to get you back to school in style! Masks are required, and please pay by check.
Spirit Day and Ugly Christmas Sweater Day
This Friday, December 11th is Spirit Day! Show your Monarch pride by wearing a spirit wear shirt or hoodie with the bottoms of your choice, following the school guidelines. A special Ugly Christmas Sweater edition of Spirit Day is being offered next week on Friday, December 18th!
