A question.

How do you avoid including a trademarked phrase in your copy? For example, "We buy houses" is a trademarked line. Theoretically, you could be sanctioned for using it--incurring legal costs and, potentially, fines. Do you have a systematic approach to avoiding this type of problem? Have you ever made that mistake?

With so many intellectual property lawyers going after folks who either overtly or inadvertently use trademarked or copyrighted material, this seems as if it's going to be a real problem in the future.

Thoughts?
