Celebrate the Feast of St. Mark the Evangelist with a noon Holy Communion in the Church on Tuesday, April 25. The brief address for this service will be given by Mr. Matthew Sparks, a parishioner discerning a vocation.
Mr. Cody Moran, a parishioner also discerning a vocation, will give a brief address at the Wednesday, April 26, noon Eucharist in the church.

The next Faith + Fiction is on Wednesday, April 26, at 5:30 p.m. in the Green-Meldrim House. They’ll discuss Babette’s Feast & Sorrow-Acre by Isak Dinesen. All are welcome to join this theologically focused book discussion. The only requirement is to read the book.

We will feature the film version of the book title being discussed earlier in the week during our Faith + Fiction on April 26, Babette’s Feast, which is the first Danish movie to win an Academy Award for best foreign language film. | |

Fresh Air Home Outreach
Donations collected until May 6

Donate Housekeeping Supplies
St. John’s Outreach Committee is collecting housekeeping supplies for the Fresh Air Home until Saturday, May 6. These supplies will help them prepare for their summer campers and keep things tidy all summer.
You may purchase items locally and drop them off in the collection bin in the Cranmer Hall lobby. You may also choose to purchase items via the Amazon Wish List at www.stjohnssav.org/outreach and have those items shipped directly to the Finnegan Family who will deliver all donations in May. Sew Pillowcases

The Outreach committee is looking for summer volunteers to help St. John’s sponsored refugee family with transportation and language skills.
Transportation: This summer, the school-age children will be participating in an enrichment program at Georgia Southern University, Armstrong Campus. It will last for 2 weeks from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday through Friday (May 31 to June 16). They need volunteers who can assist with driving the children, for drop off and pick up.
Language Skills: Volunteers are needed to assist the family with their language skills. It is especially meaningful for the children to continue practicing over the summer. No experience or special training is needed.

| The Men of St John’s Golf Tournament will return on Friday, May 26 at the Club at Savannah Harbor. Only six tee times are available! Call Charles Williams at 912-656-8884 by May 19 to register as a team Captain. The format is 4-man Captain’s Choice. No shotgun start. The entry fee is $115 plus one sleeve of your type of ball and a box lunch. | |

St. Michael’s Youth Summer Conference |
Join St. John’s youth group at St. Michael’s Summer Conference from July 23-29. St. Michael’s is a unique summer camp experience: in addition to recreational activities, each day of the Conference is structured by Anglican worship and discussion-based classes with clergy. Steven Vanderlip will be serving on the Conference staff this year.
If you would like to learn more about the Conference, ask Steven or view the brochure. Before registering, please let Steven know so that he can share scholarship information and travel plans with you. The Conference is open to all high schoolers, but if your youth is in 8th grade and would like to attend, please let Steven know.
