Encourage Your Patients to Get Their Flu Shot
It's not too late to get flu vaccinations. The best way to prevent the flu is to get the flu vaccine. Everyone 6 months and older should get a flu shot annually.
Both flu and COVID vaccines are necessary to help people stay healthy and to avoid added stress to our health care system. The CDC says it’s safe to get the flu vaccine and a COVID vaccine at the same time, whether it’s your first COVID vaccine, or for those who are eligible, your third dose or a booster shot. The body's immune response and any possible side effects are generally the same as when getting one vaccine alone. Consider getting each vaccine in a different arm to help reduce any pain and swelling that might happen.

Deadline Extended! Submit Your Historical Colorectal Cancer Screening Reports by January 31, 2022
In early November, you should have received your Patient Opportunity Reports via your practice’s OneDrive account. Upon reviewing your Patient Opportunity Report, if you find a discrepancy with colorectal cancer screening being completed in prior years (before 2021) and within the measurement acceptance period, please follow these instructions to submit historical reports to the MSHP Quality Team by January 31, 2022.
It is important to submit these reports as it will help maximize your 2021 CI Index score/incentive potential.
