First Day of School and Ice Breaker
The first day of the new school year went smoothly.
We started the day with chapel and reviewed the activities planned for the day.
Students separated into breakout sessions, which were:
1. Technology, presented by Mrs. Ranzolin. Students received their Chromebooks and were assigned an MVA email address.
2. College prep, presented by Mrs. Rosales and Mrs. Flores. The students were given tips and recommendations on achieving success in high school and preparing for college.
3. Student ID photos, taken by Chaplain Lee and Ms. Helms.
4. Classroom visitation. Students were briefed about the expectations in each class.
Home, School & Church (HS&C) volunteers served delicious Chick-fil-a garden salads and mac & cheese to the staff and students.
The day ended with the S.A. Icebreaker get-acquainted social. The students enjoyed activities while working together and getting to know each other outside the classroom.
