Over 75 years, South Plains residents have given more than $193 million toward United Way's Annual Campaign. Those dollars represent hundreds of thousands of lives impacted by United Way and our Community Partners. More than that, those dollars represent stories - stories of hope. They are stories of children who grew up with a safe place to go after school and during the summer. Stories of survivors of the 1970 tornado and a community rallying through the COVID-19 Pandemic. Stories of people who received safety, care, and healing following trauma.
Maybe you never received direct support from a United Way Community Partner, but odds are you know someone who has. Maybe you are new to the area but received support from a United Way back home. Maybe you could have used the support of a United Way. Whatever your story, it matters.
Your story is a thread in a tapestry of thousands of stories that make up who United Way is and why we continue to our mission of Giving • People • Hope.
