I am impressed every day as I walk through the halls and into classrooms to see the high level of engagement being displayed by the teachers and students. They have found ways to prioritize the safety and health of every student while continuing the level of academic engagement that you have always expected. Staff members continue to promote academic, social, and emotional growth at all times and through many methods. Thank you, GA staff!

God bless,

Corey

Quick Updates From The School Office

School Pictures
Fall Picture Day will be Monday, September 21. Students received an order form from Lifetouch Photography Wednesday, September 16th. All students will be photographed, but only students with order forms (or online receipts) will receive photo packages. A reminder that students may dress out of uniform but should wear school appropriate attire.  Students participating in School at Home may have their picture taken from 7:30-7:45 in the PC gym.

Map Testing
Fall MAP Assessment testing will take place from September 21-October 2. This beginning of the year assessment will be used as a tool to evaluate your child’s growth throughout the school year. All students K-8 will participate in the assessment to help our teachers learn and understand the background knowledge of our students. Results will be shared with 1st trimester report cards in early November. Please join us in praying for the continued growth of our Angels!
From the Nurse's Office

Thank you to our wonderful GA families for your help and cooperation in working to keep our angels healthy! Please continue your great communication with us.

In hopes of maintaining the good work and keeping our angels in school, we want to remind families to keep safety in consideration outside of school as well. Please keep in mind the same measures outside of school that we are taking within school when it comes to physical distancing, masking when in public and being cautious with travel. The state of Ohio has a website that follows hotspots around the country. This site is updated every Wednesday with the list of states with high positive testing rates for infection. Ohio currently recommends quarantining after visiting states included on the list. You can see that list by clicking here.

We are all in this together; thank you for your help.

Parent Volunteers Still Needed

Thank you everyone who has volunteered to help us supervise K-2nd recess! We are still in need of a few helpful hands to keep an eye on our K-2nd graders during recess. Please consider sharing a small part of your day to assist with playground supervision. All volunteers must be VIRTUS trained and current with their bulletins.

Volunteers should plan to plan to arrive on campus by 12:40pm, check in at the office to have your temperature checked. Then proceed to the playground to await the arrival of our K-2 students. A teacher will be on duty daily to help supervise students and guide volunteers. The teacher on duty will help to point you to locations for supervision. At the conclusion of recess, please check out with Mrs. Buchmann in the office.

Volunteers will not be needed on rainy or inclement weather days.

Click here if you are interested in volunteering on the playground.
