The Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce has spoken.
Ali Khataw was named Volunteer
of the Year for Regional Mobility.
Austin, Texas – On December 16, the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce announced the 2020 Volunteers of the Year awards recipients. Ali Khataw, Encotech Engineering Consultants' President and CEO, was selected as the Regional Mobility volunteer for his dedication and support to the Chamber on this effort.

Mr. Khataw has a long history of supporting initiatives to improve communities' quality of life in and around Austin. He currently serves on the Chamber's Board of Directors and the Chamber's Regional Mobility Committee. Ali was active on the committee during Project Connect discussions over the past year and provided keen insights from his professional engineering expertise and his thoughts on how mobility plays a role in overall regional planning. Ali is an accomplished photographer and in 2019 was inducted to the University of Texas Cockrell School of Engineering Academy of Distinguished Alumni.

The Chamber also announced the names of nine other recipients:
