Fatherhood is Sacred®, Motherhood is Sacred®

This 12-week program on Thursdays from 5 to 7 p.m. celebrates Native American fathers and mothers through a curriculum developed by the Native American Fatherhood and Families Association.

Class sizes are limited to 10 participants. Six spots reserved for NHBP Tribal Members and four for Members of other federally-recognized Tribes.

Virtual Curious Caregivers

Join NHBP Social Services as we offer new perspectives on parenting and guardianship with tips, tricks and insight.

The Curious Caregivers Series is presented by NHBP’s Social Services Prevention Education Curriculum. With an online seminar offered three times monthly, an NHBP Social Services Specialist will provide practical information and proven parenting strategies to any parent or caregiver of NHBP Tribal youth.

The new and improved Members Only website launched last month! Visit members.nhbp-nsn.gov to check out the user-friendly and easy-to-navigate site. Your current Members Only login information will remain the same for the new site, but you will be asked to update your information after logging in for the first time. Remember to bookmark to your favorites for easy access to this vital resource.


Elders Gift Card Program

Any NHBP Member 50 years of age or older admitted to a hospital facility for medical care requiring at least one overnight stay is eligible for a $25 gift card to Wal-Mart to help with unexpected costs.

Requests for Elder Gift cards must be submitted no later than 30 days after the date of hospitalization to be eligible per policy. You may use this program two times per year.

COVID-19 Pfizer Vaccines for Children Ages 5-11

NHBP Health and Human Services Department is offering vaccination to any Federally Recognized Tribal Member or Descendant and employee household children, ages 5-11 at our Clinics, by appointment only. Click here for CDC recommendations.

COVID-19 Vaccine Booster Doses

Moderna and Pfizer booster doses are available to Tribal Members and NHBP employees and household members. 

Anyone who is 18+ is now eligible if they have received their second dose of Moderna or Pfizer vaccine six or more months ago, or their single dose of Johnson & Johnson vaccine more than two months ago.

For your convenience, flu vaccines and COVID-19 vaccines and boosters can be given at the same appointment.

Ellume Home Test Kits remain available for your use. Recall notice: The lot number ending in “62-1” was recalled, effective Oct. 25, 2021. If you have test kits ending in 62-1, please contact the HHSD for replacement. For more information about the recall, please click here.
