A Note from Mr. Otto

Hello KM Explore and Wales Elementary Families!

I want to personally thank each of you for an outstanding school year.We really appreciate the partnership in making your child's journey the best it can be. Community engagement is so important to the success of our campus environment. I am grateful we were able to host in person events, welcome volunteers, and have kids participate in rich learning activities.

As we close out the 2021-22 school year I wanted to share some information for the upcoming 2022-23 school year. We are excited to bring back Great Start Conferences on campus. These conferences allow you and your child time with their classroom teacher(s) to create, renew, and build connections and relationships. School pictures will be available as well as information from PTO, and other happenings on campus.

Great Start Conferences will be held Monday, August 29, from 11-7, Tuesday, August 30, from 8-4, and Wednesday, August 31, from 8-noon. More information will be sent home in early August about sign ups.

I also wanted to share teaching assignments for next school year. Class placements will be available to families in early August. An email message will be sent home when placements are available to view in Infinite Campus.

  • Pick up Health Room Meds - Stop into the health room or make arrangments prior to the end of the year to gather any medication you have left in our health room
