From the Desk of Ellen Knippel, Principal

Dear Parents,
The sun is FINALLY shining!! Kudos to all of your children for cooperating so well this past week! It was very hard being in our classrooms for SO many recesses! They did a great job! Thanks too to our teachers for giving up half of their lunch hour to supervise the students in the classrooms.

Speaking of lunch... If you have volunteered to be our LUNCH SERVER, please arrive by 11:20. We need to be ready to serve by 11:30 so these helpers are needed a little earlier than the recess helpers. Thanks!

Drop off and pick up has been working much better. We will continue using this process. It goes MUCH faster than car rider line. We all need to continue to watch out for our children. Be sure to ONLY enter on SS and ONLY exit on Oakton. Please remember to wear a mask when you are walking your child to the school doors.

The Wednesday, September 16th Mass is Birthday Blessing for August and September birthdays. For those of you new to SAL we LOVE to celebrate birthdays!! Any students who have a birthday in August or September may have a dress up day on Wednesday (No jeans or sweats, please). Their names will be called (in their classrooms) and they will receive a special blessing from Fr. Tony. They will also receive a special gift from the office!

Still interested in ordering a St. Anthony school mask? Please place your order by October 1st. Order forms are on the website  here,  Mask Order Form and in the bulletin.

Blessings!
