The Dietrich College of Humanities and Social Sciences is pleased to announce "Dietrich Deep Dives," a series of engaging and in-depth presentations about critical political and societal issues through the lens of the humanities, social sciences and related fields. These virtual webinars are open to Carnegie Mellon University alumni, students, faculty and staff.

Anticipate the Turn
Thrust into the middle of the coronavirus pandemic, the thinkers and doers at Carnegie Mellon University push on. Researchers tackle new problems as lecturers innovate unexpected ways to connect with the bright minds of tomorrow.

When Drinking Alone Becomes A Problem
Kasey Creswell, associate professor of psychology, has focused her career on understanding the mechanisms that lead to addiction and which people may be vulnerable.

Keeping It Real
For two decades, Dietrich College alumna Angela Molloy has brought new friends, home makeovers, multimillion-dollar real estate deals, therapy sessions and celebrities’ day-to-day lives into our homes. We sat down with Angela for an insider’s look at the unscripted television world and how her CMU education helped make her career possible.
