Recordation and Tax Certificates

As of November 1, 2020, the Planning and Development Department will no longer accept composite tax receipts for plat recordation.

All in-City plats must be accompanied with a tax certificate dated after November 1, 2020. However, in some instances, a tax certificate will be acceptable if the taxes are not yet calculated and is dated after November 1, 2020. If the taxes are calculated and pending for 2020, then the taxes must be paid and a new tax certificate provided at recordation.
