April 2021 Newsletter
Founded in 1981, BCDI-Atlanta is celebrating our 40th Anniversary! We'd love to share your stories about our impact! Please fill in this BCDIAtl40 Form, so we may recognize you.
DECAL funds the BCDI-Atlanta Powerful Families Program - our two-generation innovation project. Through Powerful Families, we work to improve connections for low-income families in the City of Atlanta and Fulton County. The program focuses on creating opportunities for and addressing the needs of both children and their families together, to create improved family economic stability.

Thank you for partnering with us to support family engagement with young children!
Through our partners at Too Small to Fail, we are excited to share this month’s “Talking is Teaching: Talk, Read, Sing” bundle, Let’s Talk About Spring!

Spring brings longer days, warmer weather, and signs of new life everywhere. There are so many ways to engage children with fun learning activities this spring, from talking about the colors of the flowers to playing and singing outside in the rain! This month's bundle is filled with ways to help parents and caregivers talk, read, and sing with their children about spring.

Mask Donations

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, BCDI-Atlanta was one of the organizations identified to receive masks during the Bank of America Million Mask Challenge. We are honored to receive these masks and to get them out to our children, families, and communities!
