Happy Friday, Folks -
The rain is back and will likely be on and off through the weekend. Not a bad thing, though it will certainly not be great some of our tennis players and possible USTA matches. On that note, Tim will be postponing his tennis clinic until Sunday, February 26.
The next couple nights I'll be playing with my band Rosin Coven at the Edwardian Ball in SF. We started the EdBall over 20 years ago, but this will be the last time we perform at this wild 2 night event, as Rosin Coven, after 25+ years of being together, will be winding down later in the year. It was a good run and the closing of this chapter is certainly bittersweet...
OK - ! So, lot's of other info in this newsletter, as well, including a member's 'succulent artistry' pop-up sale, a clothing and jewelry pop-up sale (postponed), a chance for customized Indian Wells experiences, a Valentine's Day Tennis Mixer, spicy offering at the General Store, videos videos videos and more...

Hope you stay warm and dry this weekend,
Patrick

Like her mom, she has taken to the beauty of nature for creative inspiration, and like her dad, she is influenced by his love for all things related to the sea. The merging of land and sea has been her passion for creating living art arrangements, hence the business name “SeaGardens Marin”
Driven by her passion to create, Teá takes great pleasure in making arrangements using Succulents and Orchids set in an assortment of natural and ceramic seashells, and other themed planters. She is always proud to share with others what she affectionately calls “Happiness in a Shell”

Grant Recipient Reception Success
The Sunday before last the Harbor Point Charitable Foundation hosted representatives from the various non-profits that received grants in 2022. The reception and social mixer also included representatives of some of the non-profit groups which have events that we regularly sponsor, as well as some Harbor Point members and residents who had affiliation with some of the non-profits.
The event was a unique chance to meet in person the people from the over 20 non-profits invited, who are doing so much great work out there, and for the various organizations to get to know their fellow non-profits a little better.
Over $110,000 was given in grants in 2022 to about 20 deserving local organizations. In future newsletters we will share with you more information about the various groups and the fine work they do.

Increase Strength and Mobility with Pilates and GYROTONIC Sessions
Harbor Point members (and non-members!) can improve their flexibility and achieve an overall feeling of balance at Carla Daro-Kaliski’s Spiral Studio. Her GYROTONIC and Pilates sessions can stimulate your muscle, skeletal, and nervous systems to increase strength and joint mobilization, as well as decompress the spine, so your whole body experiences greater vitality in a natural way. For beginners and experienced athletes, too.
You’re invited to try a discounted introductory package of 3 lessons, available for just $175. Book online and learn more at www.spiralstudiomarin.com. Reach out with any questions :)
I am loving Gyrotonic, and Carla is just fabulous. It has made me stronger and more flexible from just a few sessions, and is gradually improving the way I sit, stand, and move. Very subtle and pretty amazing stuff.

Your copy should address 3 key questions: Who am I writing for? (Audience) Why should they care? (Benefit) What do I want them to do here? (Call-to-Action)
Create a great offer by adding words like "free" "personalized" "complimentary" or "customized." A sense of urgency often helps readers take an action, so think about inserting phrases like "for a limited time only" or "only 7 remaining!"
