KIOGA 2021 Annual Convention – Leading Energy Event in Kansas

Over 700 participants from oil and gas exploration and production companies, service and supply companies, financial institutions, and government agencies converged on Wichita for the KIOGA 84th Annual Convention and Expo held August 15-17, 2021 at the Century II Performing Arts & Convention Center in Wichita, Kansas. Also, 50 exhibitors filled the exhibitor hall for a well-attended event.

Convention attendees heard a phenomenal keynote address from the 70th U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo during the luncheon plenary session on August 16th. A few days prior to arriving at our convention, Pompeo was interviewed by Sean Hannity on Fox News. Pompeo did an excellent job in the interview and put in a nice plug for KIOGA You can see that clip HERE
Pompeo’s keynote address at the KIOGA 2021 Annual Convention focused on energy policy issues, President Biden’s weak leadership as the Taliban take over Afghanistan, and his political future.

Pompeo’s presence and speech at the KIOGA Annual Convention was covered by several media groups including TV stations KWCH and KSN as well as the Topeka Capital-Journal, Wichita Eagle, and Oklahoma Today. You can see the media coverage from  KWCH by clicking on the following  Pompeo weighs in on Afghanistan exit, touches on political future (kwch.com)  You can find media coverage from the Topeka Capital-Journal  HERE . You can find media coverage from the Wichita Eagle by clicking on the following  Pompeo talks Afghanistan, energy policy in return to Wichita | The Wichita Eagle (kansas.com) . You can find Oklahoma media coverage by clicking  Pompeo rips Biden at Kansas oil and gas convention – Oklahoma Energy Today (okenergytoday.com) .
