The holiday season marks the close of a fun-filled year at Gillette Castle, one of Connecticut's most popular historic sites. We hope you enjoyed reading about the many activities we sponsored at the Castle, and we definitely hope you found an opportunity to participate in one or two of them.
The coming year will be an exciting one. We have designated 2022 as a year to honor Yukitaka Osaki, William Gillette's right-hand man. Osaki lived on the river area near the ferry, so we have plans for
significant efforts along the river banks next year. The long-awaited installation of "The Sherlock Sign" will begin this week!
We plan to continue having engaging and informative events in 2022, and to have a tangible impact on our beloved Castle and grounds.
As an active member, we greatly appreciate your current involvement in the Friends. Your membership dollars provide a steady source of revenue that gives stability in uncertain times. Volunteer contributions of time and effort is the only way we can get any work done!
Please consider an additional donation to show your support for our 2022 plans. Any amount is greatly appreciated.
