Dr. Danielle Murray, Interim Principal
December 19th, 2021
Students have full days of school Monday-Wednesday and an 11:15 dismissal on Thursday. School resumes on Monday, January 3, 2022.

Holiday parties are happening soon. Just a reminder that as of today, we are still only allowing modified visitation in the building. Homeroom parents are allowed to bring in supplies and set up for parties, but they cannot run parties at this time.

Please see the Holiday Spirit Week schedule below and join the Pennell Staff in our week long holiday dress up.

I hope that everyone has a fun-filled and relaxing winter break!

Thank you Mrs. D'Angelo
This past week, Pennell bid farewell to our beloved library assistant, Mrs. D'Angelo. The amazing Mrs. D'Angelo inspired a love of reading in each of our students. We thank her for everything she has done for Pennell and wish her well in her student teaching experience.
What's Ahead
Absence Notes
Just a reminder about excused absences. When students are absent, in order to have that absence excused, parents or guardians must provide a signed excusal note within 3 days of returning to school. Excusal notes received from doctors are automatically excused. Our attendance policy can be found on the Pennell web site and in the Pennell Handbook.
Afternoon Dismissal
If your child is a car rider in the afternoon, please park in our two parking lots closest to Pennell Road. There are limited additional parking spaces available behind the school building. Please adhere to our No Parking Signs and do not park your car around the perimeter of the back of the school, this causes congestion to the traffic pattern, in addition to it being our fire lane. Parents picking up most park in a designated parking spot. Thank you for following proper procedures for dismissal.
Mask Information
Dr. Steinhoff sent a message to the school community last week regarding the lifting of the mask mandate in schools and expressed Penn Delco's message that "The CDC and the PA Department of Health “recommends universal indoor masking for all staff, students, and visitors to K-12 schools, regardless of vaccination status”. Accordingly, the district will recommend universal masking of all persons in our schools." We will still have masks available for students if they need one. Parents should make their child aware of their parental expectations regarding masks while at school. Please reach out if you have any questions.
