Hello to all my quilting family! I'm sending out my newsletter early to let all of my quilting friends know that I will be closed the month of December because I'm having my Left Knee replaced on November 30th. So if you have a Christmas project that you need for Christmas, I MUST have it by November 8th.
After spending the week at the beach with my mom and trying to relax, I fell down the steps and nearly broke both of my legs. So I'm doing the worst one first and I'm ready to feel better by the first of the year for my Retreat in March. Then looking for my right knee about April. So heads ups....
October has been a very busy month with every week filled with something. We had our first Crafter's yard sale and I want to thank everyone who was a vendor or a shopper who came and made this a fun day. Then I took a group of ladies back to West Virginia to the BEST quilt shop in Summersville. We has a blast with Vickie the shop owner and we spent way to much money, but the fabric was worth the trip. The leaves were breath taking on the trip back. So our team said this should be a yearly trip in October. So pencil the 3rd week on your calendar for 2022. This weekend I will be hosting "SPOOKTACULR" for the 6th year. I just love this event. If you haven't been to one of these they are so much fun.
So for November I have a class on the 13th that is a cute snowman wall hanging for a door or table runner. It again is a quick project that you will make here in class and take with you. I have spots still available for this and the cost is $25.00 for the day. After that we just have a few more Quilter's Daycare Thursdays
and then we have Thanksgiving and then we are closed until January 1st.
I will be adding additional classes after the first of the year, so check out my web site for current information and registering for classes. I have a paper piecing class that comes as a kit. That will be a fun one. I also have a barn sign painting class in my planning for warmer weather and another block sewing project that will be pre-cut for purchase. So stay tuned for all my exciting things to come!
I will keep everyone posed on my progress after my surgery and will also have a December newsletter for what January will have for activities and more. Until then.....
Keep on sewing and I will see you soon.
