Cultivating Opportunities In STEM For Our Children.
Taking STEM Education to the next level!
What an honor it was to have an opportunity to interview veteran astronaut, Stephanie Wilson, about her fourth mission to outer space with NASA's Artemis Program. Most people have never seen two Black women engineers have a conversation. When our children see people that look like them in these professions they know that they can achieve! Check out the 10 minute interview here.

Despite the challenges that our organization faced, the past year has been a year of unprecedented growth for the STEM Greenhouse! Many of our students have had to learn in a completely virtual environment for almost a year. We are fortunate to be able to continue to provide STEM programming that allows them to learn and have fun from the convenience of their homes.
The unique ways that we work to serve vulnerable children in our community are starting to be recognized outside of the Grand Rapids community. The STEM videos that we produced for our virtual STEM program were noticed by the newly created, Michigan Learning Channel. Our videos will be aired on the channel starting in February 2021, allowing children all over the state of Michigan to have access to hands-on science instruction.

We are in the process of making more videos and have enlisted the support of an animator to help us better communicate scientific concepts. You can visit our YouTube Channel to check out the videos that we have already created. Be sure to subscribe to the channel to receive notification when our new videos are released.

Thank you so much for supporting the STEM Greenhouse. We are able to inspire the next generation of STEM leaders because of YOU!
