Notes for picture day: We ask that parents and grandparents refrain from staying during picture time.  Pictures are a great opportunity for children to try something a little scary, develop the ability to overcome fear and to gain trust in one's own abilities.  Teachers will support the children and help each develop emotionally.

Oct 27th & Oct 28th
Mark your calendars!
Your child picture assignment day is posted outside of each classroom.  Check it out!  No orders will be required before pictures.  Pictures will be taken, proofs will be sent to you and then you can order what you like!
Our doors open at 7:55 AM.  While we do allow children to enter until 8:30 AM it is extremely important for the little ones to arrive by 8:10 AM.  All classrooms have a morning routine which is critical to setting the tone for the day.  Children who arrive late miss so much.  For some, arriving late means that they have missed morning center time, Atrium, name writing, table top games, morning meeting or other routine activity.  Arriving late also disrupts the teacher, who has to stop what she is doing to greet the child/parent.
Life happens and sometimes students will arrive to school late.  We understand!  Currently there is a steady trickle of late-arrivers all the way up until 8:45 AM.  Please consider adjusting your morning routine so that your child doesn't miss important classroom routines!

Did you know that risk-taking is a healthy part of child development?  Often we try to protect our children from everything however healthy risk-taking facilitates learning in so many many.  It helps with self-identity, confidence, self-moderation and much more!

Halloween Celebrations

We will not be having parties, parades or dress up days for Halloween this year.  The current restrictions due to Covid-19 will not allow for our normal routine Halloween events. Instead we will have a week of fall and Halloween-themed fun.  During the last week of October we host the following days:

10/26 Monday- Crazy hair day or dress in fall colors
10/27 Tuesday- Movie Day
10/28 Wednesday- Fall science celebration day-  bring in a colored leaf, gourd, small
pumpkin, dried corn, dried sunflower etc. to study in
                               science centers
10/29 Thursday- Dress like a pumpkin day or wear orange
10/30 Friday-Silly socks or Halloween sock day

There will be no school on November 3rd.
Extended Day Hours:   6:30 AM- 7:45 AM
                                       3:00 PM- 6:00 PM
All families must read the handbook.  Once the handbook is read, please download and sign the handbook form indicating that you have read and will adhere to the policies within the handbook or click the link to sign the agreement digitally
The office utilizes the Remind App for short updates, notifications, emergency announcements, delays, closures and more.  It would be very beneficial to sign up for our announcements via this system.  Download the app and join our "class".
