Dear Marianist Family and Friends,

Please join me in welcoming Rob Brodrick as the inaugural National Director for MLC-NA! As National Director, Rob will be responsible for implementing the vision of MLC-NA and facilitating its day-to-day operations. He begins this position in Dayton, OH, on September 13.

Rob’s professional experience as senior program manager for The Partnership Center in Cincinnati, OH, combines his expertise with data analysis and strategic planning with his commitment to serving local communities in their efforts to prevent and end homelessness. Rob brings these valuable skills to his role as the National Director. He holds a Ph.D. in systematic theology from Boston College, as well as an M.A. and B.S. from the University of Dayton.

Rob currently serves as the MLC-NA At-Large Member for Strategic Planning and Web Development.  He brings extensive experience in service and ministry through his work with the Mission of Mary Cooperative, International Organization of Marianist Lay Communities, and Adele Social Justice Project. Rob possesses a deep commitment to the Marianist charism and to the growth and development of Marianist Laity. In this position, Rob will help bring to life the work of the Leadership Council on behalf of our lay members.

I want to thank Paul Combest, MLC-NA Head of Temporalities, for leading this search and Sarah Gray, MLC-NA Administrator, for providing the logistical support that is essential to ensuring a smoothly run process. In a special way, I also thank the members of the search committee who gave their time and expertise in reviewing the applications, conducting the initial interviews, and providing important feedback.

We are grateful to the Society of Mary for their confidence and initial seed funding to establish this position. Together we will continue to expand and deepen our engagement and communication within the broader Marianist Family.

Together in Mary’s mission,
Margy Lisjak
Chair
