Mustang Families:
We understand that on occasion students may forget their lunch, instrument, or school materials. Our front office staff work diligently to get those items to students in a timely manner.
However, we are seeing an increase in food deliveries for students from outside vendors. Due to safety and security, we are unable to receive vendor deliveries in the front office. This includes food deliveries and deliveries such as flowers, balloons, etc. In addition, we do not have the capacity to distribute these items and can not disrupt classroom instruction for these deliveries.
We are also seeing an increase in drinks and smoothies being brought into school in the morning. These items spill, creating stains on the carpets, damage to computers, and slippery floors that create a safety hazard for other students. These items will no longer be allowed in school unless they are in a secured container. Plastic cups with snap on lids provided by the vendor are not sufficient for securing the beverages.
