Mid Summer 2021
Volume 2 | Issue 1
We are once again faced with the cancellation of our Annual Used Book Sale due to complications caused by the pandemic.

Help us continue to fulfill our mission to provide local scholarships this fall to deserving women in Downers Grove, Darien, Lisle, Westmont, & Woodridge and contribute to National AAUW’s Greatest Needs Fund by making a monetary donation through our online fundraiser. Consider how much you have spent at our sale in the past as you think about making a donation.
Our goal this year is to raise $6,250, 80% for local scholarships and 20% for our annual donation to National AAUW.

Please click here to donate with a credit card.

If you would prefer to pay with a check, please mail your check payable to:
“Downers Grove Area AAUW”
PO Box 694, Downers Grove, IL 60515

Our webpage will be kept up-to-date with a total that combines credit card donations with checks received. We may periodically send out emails to report on fundraising progress. We will send a final total and acknowledge all donors in September using the following level system:
Used Book Sale Supporter: up to $49
Rare Book Collector: $50 to $499
Educator's Society: $500 - $1,999
Scholarship Hero: $2000 and above
If you would prefer not to be acknowledged by name, please use Anonymous as your first name on the online donation form or include a note in your check donation envelope.

Thank you very much for your donation and attention to this worthwhile endeavor for Women who are returning to complete their educational goals. We hope to return to holding our annual Used Book Sale in 2022!
