LET'S GET TOGETHER!
THIS SUNDAY | SEPTEMBER 13 | 9:30 AM

Join us THIS Sunday morning, September 13, for an outdoor worship celebration! We'll have chairs set up for you and your family in the south parking lot (socially distanced, of course) and plenty of water, so all you need to bring is yourself! We'll also have activity kits available for your kids so they can participate, too! Plan to arrive at 9:00 to find a seat and enjoy visiting with those around you!

To love our neighbors well and keep everyone safe, we encourage you to wear a mask, especially while moving around or singing. (Masks are required anytime you are in the building.) For more information on our COVID precautions, click here.

Here are the details:
  • Parking will be available on the north side of the church or at the shopping center next door.
  • We'll have socially distanced spots marked out for you -- come early and grab your spot! (Pretend you're tailgating for a football game!
  • Feel free to bring your own snacks - we'll have bottled water available.
  • The service will be live-streamed (vrbc.net/live) for those who aren't able to join us in person.

QUARRELS DURING QUARANTINE? LET'S TALK!
TUESDAY, SEPT. 15 & THURSDAY, SEPT. 17 | 8:00 PM

As we're all living through a uniquely challenging season, do these questions sound a little familiar?
  • Why are some of us staying busy with tasks and projects while others are FaceTiming with every friend they know?
  • Why do some of us feel safest hunkered at home while others are on their fourth neighborhood stroll of the day?
  • Wondering why you have to micromanage one kid's homeschooling while the other knocks out their work by 10:00 a.m.?
Join us next week on the VR Kids Facebook page, on Tuesday (9/15) for Part 1 and Thursday (9/17) for Part 2, at 8:00 pm, as we watch "Quarantine Quarrels (and How to Quit Them)." Communication Coach Kathleen Edelman will give us tips to understanding how our personalities affect family dynamics and the tasks and situations in which we are living in during this season. Karen Simmang and Priscila Mendes will be watching (and commenting) with you! Come out on the other side of quarantine with more grace and patience for the loved ones you've been living with. You'll be glad you did. (And so will your loved ones.) Click here to find out what to expect!
