First Reading:
Resplendent and unfading is wisdom,
and she is readily perceived by those who love her, and found by those who seek her. (Wis 6:12)
Second Reading:
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose, so too will God, through Jesus, bring with him those who have fallen asleep. (1 Thes 4:14)
Gospel:
“Afterwards the other virgins came and said,
‘Lord, Lord, open the door for us!’ But he said in reply, ‘Amen, I say to you, I do not know you.’ Therefore, stay awake, for you know neither the day nor the hour.” (Mt 25:11-13)

A Message from our Parish Pastor, Father Phil
|
|
Dear Parishioners:
I am writing this early in the week, before the final votes have been cast on Tuesday and, therefore, long before the outcome of the presidential election has been definitively determined. I have no crystal ball to tell me whether Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin will go “red” or “blue,” and since the 2000 election with Florida’s chads debacle I’ve been very hesitant to trust exit polls and pundits’ projections.

A Prayer for Veterans
Heavenly Father, King and Lord, You instill in all of Your creation an order and value.
You call Your children "very good." We surrender to You the conflicts that tear your family apart. We pray for an end to blindness that places pride, greed, power, and selfishness above human dignity and brotherly love. We pray in gratitude for all of those who have defended peace, virtue, and justice with honor. We pray especially for those who have suffered in mind and body from the ravages of war. Let Your Kingdom come! May Your peace that surpasses all understanding reign in our hearts and in our world. Amen.

A Message from the School Principal, Mrs. Amy Nelson

|
If it weren’t for wearing masks, having to social distance, and using hand sanitizer many times each day, this year is like no other. Students are working hard to learn new skills and concepts, and the teachers are committed to our mission of striving for academic excellence interweaving lessons with the Catholic Faith, serving God and others. Most recently, I observed a science lesson involving an egg drop, watched students create arrays as they practiced multiplication facts, listened to students read a new whole group chapter book, practice spelling words with long vowel sounds, and observed a lesson on Saints. I look forward to seeing many more exciting lessons and activities to come yet this trimester. Parental and Parish support is very much appreciated as we engage in educating the whole child.
