ANDREA CABIO HAS FIGURED OUT HOW TO PLAY HER BEST TENNIS!
Andrea had a dominating performance at the U12 Provincials losing only 10 games in 5 matches to take home the title.

Her Coach Brandon Alguire says: “Both myself and ACE are so proud of Andrea. She competed so well in the Provincials and she really figured out how to bring her best tennis to each and every match in this event”.

Andrea continued her dominating performance in Laval at the U12 Nationals as she won her first 6 matches to reach the final. In the final she was eventually defeated by Ontario native Jacey Tian in 3 sets.

“Her character, attitude, and perseverance throughout the summer is what makes Andrea a special player. She has put in so much hard work on and off the court (especially during the Covid lockdowns). It’s not a surprise that she was able to achieve these results because she has an outstanding dedication to her training” said Alguire.

All Andrea’s hard work and results will continue to pay off as she’s now been invited by Tennis Canada to go on a European Tour to Italy and Portugal from November 27 - December 20. The Canadian team will do a week of training with the Italian team and then compete in two tournaments while overseas. It will be a great challenge for Andrea to test her game against some of the top girls in Europe.

Best of luck Andrea!!!
Over the years Andrea has had great help from her parents, themselves tennis enthusiasts, and has had the chance to compete internationally including the Little Mo tournament in Florida and leading up to her great experience here at the Provincial Tournament.
