RBC Heritage Hangtag Distribution Information

The road names listed below will have restricted access Monday, April 10th - Sunday, April 16th , during the RBC Heritage Tournament. The Security Checkpoints will be manned starting at 6:00 am each day until the end of tournament play. Click here to view a map of the Security Checkpoints.


If you live in a restricted area, a Heritage Hangtag will be required for vehicle access through the Security Checkpoints during tournament play. If your road is not shown on the list below, you will not need a vehicle hangtag for access to your residence. To request a hangtag(s) for your property please visit our website at www.seapinesliving.com/hangtags *Only one request per household

Hangtag requests will only be accepted online. Online requests will be processed by staff in the order that they are received. Once fulfilled, staff will contact you via email (please allow up to 5 business days) to confirm when ready for pick up during normal business hours (M-F; 7:30 am – 4:30 pm) at the Sea Pines CSA Administration office.


Important Hangtag Reminders


  • Each property is issued a certain number of hangtags which varies depending upon the Sea Pines location.
  • Hangtags will not be replaced if lost or stolen.
  • Please be prepared to show your property owner ID card or driver’s license when picking up your hangtag(s).
  • Hangtags cannot be mailed. Owners that are unable to physically pick up their hangtags from the Sea Pines CSA Office can send someone else on their behalf.
  • To do this, visit our website at seapinesliving.com/hangtags and enter their information using the provided online form.
  • The agent collecting for you is required to have photo ID available when picking up your hangtag(s).
  • Written permission may also be emailed to securityadmin@csaseapines.com

Decals & ID Card Requests on Temporary Hold 4/7 - 4/16



Due to staffing capacity during the week of the RBC Heritage, beginning Friday, April 7th, Sea Pines CSA will temporarily stop taking and processing requests for Vehicle Decals & Property Owner/ Dependent ID Cards. Online requests for Decals and ID Cards will resume on Monday, April 17th.

 

During this time frame, if you require a property owner vehicle pass, please contact our pass office department by phone at 843.671.7277 or request a pass for pickup via the online pass request system

Sea Pines Drive Infrastructure Improvement Project Update

Phase 3 of the Sea Pines Drive infrastructure repair project is underway with a completion time of Spring 2023.


  • Work will be performed Monday - Friday from 7 am - 6 pm. Traffic control will be present in the work zone, as needed.
  • Please observe and obey all traffic management personnel, signage, and devices.


Major Roadwork along Sea Pines Drive from Lighthouse Road to Baynard Cove Road In Progress

  • Paving operations are scheduled to begin Friday, March 17th and continue into next week, weather permitting.
  • Crews will also apply temporary line stripping to the paved roadway and then return after the necessary curing period to complete permanent line stripping, crosswalk stamping and install roadway reflectors.
  • Single-lane road closures and flagging operations will be in place.
  • Motorists should expect significant traffic delays.
  • Please use caution while driving in this area and observe the work zone speed limit of 15 mph and obey all traffic management personnel, signage and devices.

Stormwater Drainage Work on Wagon Road In Progress


  • Project work (drain pipe excavation and replacements) in this area will take 4-6 weeks to complete, weather permitting.
  • Single-lane road closures and flagging operations will be in place.

Leisure Trail Construction and Enhancements

 

  • Leisure trail construction from Lighthouse Road to Greenwood Drive/Sea Pines Drive Intersection and from Greenwood Drive to Baynard Cove Road is nearing completion.

South Sea Pines Drive Leisure Trail Timber Bridge Replacement Project

The existing leisure trail pedestrian bridge (pictured) located along South Sea Pines Drive in proximity to Beach Marker #24 (located between Black Skimmer Lane and Royal Tern Road) has exceeded its useful life and must be replaced.


Project work began Thursday, March 2nd will take approximately 4-6 weeks, weather permitting. During this time, pedestrians and cyclists will need to use the leisure trail detour, as the bridge will not be available for use.

Sea Pines CSA Beach Shuttle Service Begins March 24th

 

The Beach Shuttle will operate during the below timeframes from 9 AM- 5 PM, seven days a week, weather permitting.

 

  • March 24 – April 9: Lot 4 at Governors Road and Greenwood Drive
  • April 10 – April 16: No Beach Shuttle Service
  • April 17 – May 25: Lot 4 at Governors Road and Greenwood Drive
  • May 26 – September 4: Lot 8 near Fraser Circle on Greenwood Drive

Annual Assessment Reminders

 

The 2023 Sea Pines Annual Assessment Invoices were sent out Thursday, December 15, 2022. The due date for payment of this assessment is April 1, 2023As a reminder, the 2022 Annual Critical Infrastructure Funding Assessment was due Monday, December 12, 2022. 


Reminder emails and letters were mailed out the week of February 13th to those property owners who have a balance due on their account. Please check your Spam or Junk folders for an email from csaassessmentbilling@csaseapines.com. To pay your assessment online, click here.

Roadside Mulching


Roadside mulching throughout the community is in progress. This work will continue through next week, weather permitting.

Stormwater Repair


Ditch cleanout near Governors Road and Bateau Road is in progress and will continue through next week, weather permitting. Once complete, ditch cleanout between 170 and 182 Club Course Drive will begin.


Stormwater Maintenance

 

Drainage pipe cleaning in the area of Greenwood Forest will continue through next week, weather permitting.


Beachwalk Tree Trimming


  • Annual tree trimming along Sea Pines CSA-managed Beachwalks is underway and will continue through the spring.
  •  Beachwalks will remain open, but we ask that pedestrians use extreme caution and pay attention to flagmen on-site.

Land Use Rules and Regulations: Development


(1.1) Development of a property may not commence without prior receipt of all necessary and appropriate approvals from the Sea Pines ARB and applicable governing authorities. Such permits shall be displayed on the property as required by the ARB Guidelines.

Lot 8 Entrance Improvement (Located off Greenwood Dr. near Willow Oak Rd. West)


This week, a newly paved apron, pictured here, was installed at the immediate entrance of Lot 8 off Greenwood Drive (from the roadway to the entrance.)

South Island Public Service District Potable Drinking Water Pipeline Upgrade Project


SIPSD, the utility company providing water and wastewater services in Sea Pines, has begun their major infrastructure upgrade and replacement project to their potable water drinking line from Dunnagans Alley to Baynard Park Road, inside of Sea Pines. 


SIPSD has provided the following project update:


  • Boring and trenching in proximity to Lawton Canal are completed. A new pipeline has been installed from the Heritage Farms area through the Sea Pines CSA Admin Building parking lot along the easement near Lake Forest. Water line connections to services located at lot 4 are in progress. 



Sea Pines CSA will make leisure trail improvements on Plantation Drive from Baynard Park Road to Lighthouse Road later this fall. Click here to learn more about the project.
