I hope you are well and enjoying this wonderful weather! As we finish up fall and head into winter, here are a few landscaping tips to help keep Sonoma Verde beautiful:

  • Trees - This season is a prime time for pruning and for planting trees. Don't forget to make a plan for all those leaves on the ground once you are done. We appreciate you keeping things neat and tidy!

  • Color - If you have not already removed your summer annuals and replaced them with a cold-hardy variety, this fall is the time! Pansies do great in full sun, and violas handle partial shade a bit better. To create depth, add layers of dusty miller cabbage and kale. You can even use English ivy as a front-row or a spiller in containers.

  • Water - Now is a great time to save! With increased rainfall this season, it is good to consider adjusting summer irrigation settings. A proper irrigation schedule will keep plants thriving and will save on water. That's a win-win!

Here are a few gentle reminders about the covenants of Sonoma Verde:

  • Portable basketball goals should be stored away from view when not in use and may not be in the street or on a sidewalk.

  • Trashcans should be stored away from view on non-trash days.

  • Boats/watercraft and commercial vehicles should be parked or stored away from public view.

  • We love our four-legged neighbors! As a courtesy, please remember to keep your pets on a leash and dispose of their waste at all times when walking the community. With many neighbors working from home, let's also be courteous and remember that it is not ideal to hear barking for long periods. A neighborly gesture of bringing a noisy pup inside goes a long way!

We are incredibly thankful for the wonderful residents that call Sonoma Verde home. On behalf of your CCMC Management Team, we wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving!

Thank you,
