Week three action item is to invite a neighbor to something. Share an ice cream, go for a walk, host a party...

If you have completed ANY action items we would love to hear from you. We are hoping to be able to share these stories at the completion of the series. This could be accomplished in whatever way you feel comfortable. You could write your story, record a selfie video, complete a video interview, share a faith story in person on Sunday morning or something else... we are open to working with you.

This is a time to specifically cover the service, volunteers, message, and guests in prayer. Everyone is welcome. The group's meeting place is fluid so look for the sign with the Prayer icon. Please feel free to step in and join in any way you feel comfortable.

We believe in the power of prayer! We gather to pray for each other, the congregation, the mission of the church, and local & global needs. Join us on Zoom as we seek God's face and pray for each other.

Congregational Meeting- June 26

After worship on Sunday, June 26th there will be a short Congregational meeting to affirm Aaron Berfeldt as Director of Worship Arts. Following 8+ months as our interim director and with the unanimous support of the Worship Search team, we thank the Lord Jesus for Aaron's willingness to serve. with Living Hope

Living Hope Community Church from Chatfield, MN crashed out at Crosstown for two nights this week while they completed service ministry around the Twin Cities. Students served at the Marie Sandvik Center, Breakthrough Ministries, Salvation Army and even completed deep cleaning and yard work here at Crosstown. We are grateful to have a building to offer groups like this in support of their ministry and discipleship.

We have some exciting news to share about the Food Shelf. Our partner church, Trinity Lutheran, is helping to expand to two distribution sites. Starting in June the plan is to have one site at Crosstown and one mobile site that will drive to the Bossen apartments. The dates and times will stay the same but this means that we will need more volunteers. So if you would like to help on the 2nd or 4th Wednesday of the month the link is always in your newsletter. Parents, this is also a great service opportunity to do with your kids while they are home from school.

NENA Annual Kickball Tournament- July 23

We are thinking about entering the neighborhood kickball tournament again. Last year we had a fun day.

We are trying to gauge if there is enough interest to form a team. More information from NENA about the event can be found here.

☂️ Still Looking for a Table Umbrella

We have moved the church picnic table out for the summer. However, we are missing an umbrella. Anyone have a table umbrella they were planning to toss or donate? The church property is a windy location so it is a difficult climate for an umbrella, but Kristi and Polly would be blessed by the ability to work outside.
