Have you been looking for a new home for those brand new books you purchased during COVID, but know you'll never read again? This is it! The right place and time to donate those items. Please bring no more than two boxes of newish books in excellent condition to Rodgers Memorial Library. The Friends of the Hudson Library will be happy to take them off your hands!
The "Library of Things" Has New Additions! Items!
Monthly Spice Club
Each month will feature a different spice or spice mix from around the world. The spice kit will include a small amount of the spice, some recipes, and a bit of background about the spice's use. Spice kits can be reserved through the library catalog and picked up at the library while supplies last..

The October spice blend is Baharat. This spice blend is used in Persian cuisine and other Middle Eastern dishes to flavor lamb, chicken, beef, sweet potatoes, and more.

Join us for a Zoom “Spice Chat” with special guest Nicole Gagliardi, owner of The Spice and Tea Exchange in Portsmouth, Wednesday, October 27 at 10:30 AM. Share your opinions & experiences with this month’s spice mix.
Hudson Community Fright Ride!!
The 2nd Annual HUDSON COMMUNITY FRIGHT RIDE
On Spooky Saturday October 23, 2021 (rain date is October 24)
For Hudson residents ONLY, 5:30pm-9:00pm
Located at the Hudson Speedway

This is a drive through event geared towards grades K-5th. There will be a ton to see from Police Department vehicles, Fire Department vehicles and trucks, monster trucks, and more! Goody bags will be handed out to registered children.

Candy donations are urgently needed!
Bags of candy are very welcome! If you wish to donate, please bring your donation to the Circulation Desk anytime before Thursday, October 21 during our regular operating hours so we can fill our goody bags.

Teens After Dark: Pumpkin Carving and Pizza

Teens ages 13+ are invited to hang out in the library after hours, carve pumpkins, and eat pizza! 
We'll provide the pumpkins and tools. You can carve a jack-o-lantern.
