Where's the fire?

Each Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. Sacred Time meets in the Lady Chapel for contemplative prayer. Several of the participants usually go out afterward to lunch. This past Tuesday, they were on their way to the Metro Diner when a slick new Tesla weaved its way around one, then another of our parishioners. The Tesla was in a hurry...to get to the Metro Diner. When one of our members saw the driver get out of the car, she asked him, "Where's the Fire?" to which he responded, "What fire?" She said he seemed to be in a big hurry. He thanked her for reminding him to slow down a bit in life.

When the six members of Sacred Time asked for the check at the diner, the server let them know that the check had been paid for...by the man in the Tesla!

Take a moment each day to remember to slow down a bit, make time for God, and be kind to everyone.
