More COVID-19 Updates
As you are aware, Covid cases are rising. Norwalk is in currently in the red zone and has reverted back to Phase 2. All families should be prepared for the possibility that our school or any part thereof could be moved to full remote learning for a 14- day period at any time.

While it is our desire to keep our students in school as much as possible, the health and safety of our community comes first. There are many factors that go into making the decision to go to remote learning, including the amount of staff members on quarantine, the availability of qualified substitutes, the extent of exposure in the building, and the advice of health and medical professionals.

If you or your child tests positive or has had an exposure to anyone who has, please keep your child home and contact Nurse Taylor (ctaylor@ascs.net) and me, (Mrs.dunn@ascs.net) as soon as possible.

One of the difficulties we recently faced involved a case that was confirmed late in the day on the weekend. Time is needed to assess the situation and make the appropriate arrangements.

If we receive a late notification after 6:00PM, or a notification on the weekend, you will be notified by our emergency notification system that our school will be on full remote learning for the following day to give us the time needed to investigate the situation. You will be notified of next steps when they become available.

We have worked diligently to put precautions in place. We hope to keep our school open and not revert to remote learning like last school year. The safety of your child is of upmost importance to us. Wear your masks, keep out of crowds, wash and sanitize your hands often, and observe social distancing.

More important than ever! Please be sure that all of your contact information is updated in the school office. All parents are asked to have their cell phones nearby and turned on. If you receive a text from “956-64”, that is a text message from All Saints. Check your texts and emails often.

School will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, November 3.  It is a planned teacher in-service day.
