#3: Organizing and Bookmarking
Dear Yearbook Advisor, 

As we navigate through our new normal of virtual learning and living at a distance, we understand our schools are facing many new challenges. Entourage is committed to making your yearbook process as simple and easy as possible with the use of new resources and technology!

In this hint you will learn some tips on editing page details, bookmarking resources, and importing photos from previous years to help you get a head start on organizing your yearbook project.

We have seen thousands of our schools switch to virtual and hybrid learning schedules to help reduce the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), but rest assured that Entourage will be keeping our doors open and is here to support your school.

Introducing our newest feature: Book Builder!
To access book builder, open a page in the designer and go to the Settings tab on the top toolbar
Book Builder allows you to apply whole book templates to your pages quickly and easily

Our book builder offers 8 unique themes that our design specialists came up with specifically for yearbook design. Once installed you can move pages and edit templates to your liking.


Organizing your project now can make designing the pages an even smoother process!

1. Set up photo categories for different events and classes you have in your school. This helps you keep track of your photos and easily place them on the correct page later.

2. Bookmark templates by going to Collaborate > Explore. By bookmarking templates that fit your style, you can easily access them later when you are in the designer.

3. Plan your ladder by organizing where you want your pages. Doing this now will eliminate moving pages or finding out you need more pages down the road. Add sections, titles, and due dates. You can even assign pages to certain Editors.

*If you plan on gathering quotes, messages, or images from staff members or students, now is a great time to let them know. This way you can organize them early.

* You can use LINK to have parents, students, or other faculty upload photos to use in the yearbook as well. LINK will not give them access to designing and editing the yearbook.

Rather than browsing through all of our resources (Clip Art, Templates, and Backgrounds) within the designer - you can view and bookmark them before you even start!

Go to the Collaborate tab and choose Explore to begin!

Click the check box next to the ones you would like to bookmark for later!

To access your bookmarked resources:
To access your bookmarks in the designer you will click on the Clip Art, Background, or Template icon under Insert Items and click on the Bookmarks tab to use one of your bookmarked resources. 
Organize your pages by going to Manage Ladder and clicking in the Page Details box on the side of the page. Here you can add a title, section, assign the page to a staff member, set a due date, change the status of the page, and even add notes.

If you are trying to transfer photos from last year to your new project - we've got you covered!

Go to Manage Photos and click on the Yellow Import Previous Years Photos button to copy categories from previous projects to your current yearbook project.
View/download your invoice under Manage Invoices from your homepage.
You have several options for paying your invoice:
