Coming in January: Usborne Book Fair!
We are very excited that we will be having an Usborne Books & More book fair in January.

We hope to have a successful event and get lots of free books for our classrooms. Parents can purchase a book for their child's class and for their own children.

Thanksgiving Food Drive Praise Report
The annual Thanksgiving Food Drive was a HUGE success. We more than tripled the amount of food donations from years past and provided over $500 for the purchase of turkey and ham.

The families at Vision Family Ministries were amazed by our commitment to stand with them in their efforts to feed the homeless, and they were very moved by the fact that when our world and nation seem to be in a complete shambles, they receive their largest ever donation! THANK YOU!!

And another CONGRATULATIONS to Pegasus House and their Pre-K and Kindergarten Buddies in the Food Drive Challenge!

Performing Arts goes digital
Order your copy of Frozen, Jr.
This year, ACA is making a transition to the digital world regarding their show distribution. The filmed ACA production of Frozen, Jr. will be distributed digitally via USB Flash Drive in order to provide an efficient and easy means of sharing among family and friends as well as a safe and flexible way to store the production for future viewing.

Each USB drive will be $20.00 and available for family of cast members. Payment and order form is due to the office on or before Friday, December 18th, 2020. After that date no orders will be accepted. Copies will be available for pick up when we return from Christmas Break in January.
Don't forget! This Friday is the regular meeting of ACA's Thespian Society.

Friday, Dec. 4
1:15-3:15 p.m.
PAB
The Post family had an extra-special Thanksgiving this year as Gale Post finished her last proton therapy treatment on Nov. 23! This was Gale's third battle with cancer, and she faced it while teaching AND putting on a musical for the school! She is truly a warrior and the ACA staff is so proud of her!

"I give God all the praise and glory for His mercy and grace!" - Mrs. Post

Please continue to hold her in prayer! In three months she will have a CT scan for the final results of the treatment. Please join us in standing firm that she will be declared CANCER FREE!
Missing a jacket or a lunchbox?
We have reached the point in the year when the Lost and Found piles seem to double by the day. Parents, please check the Lost and Found for your student's items. It is very helpful to label all your student's items with their name or initials. This includes all clothing and lunchbox items. Staff can easily return labeled items.

There are three Lost and Found locations on the ACA Campus:

  • 1st floor: Green Bucket
  • 2nd floor: Brown shelves next to the elevator
  • PAB: main room
Join Hen House on Tuesday mornings
All parents are invited to join Hen House at its weekly Prayer Meeting in Room 205A on Tuesdays around 8/8:15 a.m. If the weather is nice, we will meet at the Charger Field pavilion.

Hen House gathers to pray for ACA and specific needs shared by staff, teachers, and families. Do you have a Prayer Request? Please e-mail Hen House.

"For where two or three gather in my name,
there am I with them.” Matthew 18:20
IMPORTANT: ages 10 and over should wear a mask to school!
All students ages 10 and over, in accordance with the city of Tulsa mask ordinance, must wear a face mask, unless there is an exemption form on file at the Front Office.

Due to this new ordinance, we have reconsidered the part of the current policy requesting that the masks be in school colors. We are expanding your students' mask options to include more unique styles and colors. As long as the mask is in the spirit of the dress code (not extreme or in questionable taste), it will be allowed.

Thank you for helping us remain in compliance with the City of Tulsa mandate. Please feel free to reach out to Mr. Ahrens at any time with any questions you may have.
