Shoot for a Cure

Mart Madness at Dousman Elementary
Students, staff and the community at Dousman Elementary School have begun their annual MArt Madness Tournament. The tournament is the brainchild of Dousman's art teacher Ms. McMurtagh. Every year she teaches the students about different contemporary artists and their work from all over the world. She then puts 16 pieces into a March Madness style bracket and has students, staff and our community vote on their favorites. We have just begun the second round of voting. If you are at Dousman over the next several weeks you are welcome to cast your vote using the QR code on the display board in the front atrium. Some of this year's contenders are Transcendent by Renzo Larriviere and Zara Pasfield, Oneironaut by Jon Ching, Landscape by Alisa Lariushkina, and Giannis by Mauricio Ramirez.
