Calendar Changes for 2022: The Library Board of Trustees approved a new holiday schedule: we will be OPEN Presidents’ Day 2/21, Juneteenth 6/20, and Columbus Day/Indigenous Peoples Day 10/10. Teen Calendar Icons
  • Wednesday, January 3 at 9am: Teen-To-Go Bags: A new craft bag will be available every month. Teen-To-Go bags are located on the second floor in the teen space. This month's bag includes the major supplies needed plus directions to craft a melted snowman ornament. WHILE SUPPLIES LAST.
  • Wednesday, January 19 at 6pm: Teen Advisory Board: Help decide what cool stuff the Library can offer for tweens & teens. Registration appreciated.

LitLoot: Teen Book Bundle Bags
Subscription Series January thru March

Ready for a reading surprise? Our Book Bundle Bag includes two teen books based on the theme(s) you select. You won't know exactly what books you are getting until you pick them up.

We'll also include some fun goodies in each bag. Return the borrowed books, but keep the fun surprises inside each bag!

Register to request a Teen Book Bundle Bag from the Goffstown Public Library. Participants are registering to receive one bag a month for the current series session January - March regardless of the date you sign-up.

Bath Fizzies
DIY Bath Fizzies
Saturday, January 8 at 11am

Celebrate National Bubble Bath Day by making sweet-smelling, fizzy bath bombs using simple ingredients. Each participant will make two fizzy bath bombs to take home. Participants will also receive a recipe card and bath bomb mold to keep. For grades 5-12. 

Teen Book-Oploy
Teen Winter Reading: Book-Opoly
Begins Tuesday, January 11 thru March 31

Teen Book-Opoly is a 12-week reading adventure just for grades 5-12.
 
Pick up or download your official Teen Book-Opoly playing sheet to begin; copies will be available on the second floor in the teen space. Create "book-opolies" by completing the color categories, the four corners, and mystery challenges in order to earn raffle tickets for the end-of-program prizes. The more spaces completed, the more opportunities to win.
 
Participants will be entered in a random drawing to win great prizes like Domino's Pizza gift certificates, or Escape Room tickets. Registration begins Tuesday, January 11 at 9am. Registration required.

TAB is a group of tweens and teens that meets once a month. TAB collaborates with the Teen Services Library Assistant to help improve teen programs and the teen space, suggests materials such as books and games, and creates ideas to help connect the Library with the community. Manchester Transit Authority provides on-demand service now available Monday through Friday, 9am to 2pm. Make a reservation directly with Manchester Transit Authority as early as 1 week prior, and at least 24 hours in advance.

Rides to medical appointments, riders with disabilities, and those age 62+ receive priority booking. Service will be provided on a first come first serve basis and will be available "curb to curb" from any location in the Town of Goffstown to any other location in the Town of Goffstown or any medical facility in the City of Manchester or Town of Bedford.
