Christmas is a time when we are drawn to reflect on the meaningful relationships in our life. As we celebrate the arrival of Emmanuel, God with us, we naturally think of the family and cherished friends who have been with us; who have blessed and enriched our lives. Placing poinsettia plants in the Sanctuary serves as a tangible and beautiful reminder of those special relationships that God has blessed us with.
As you worship on Christmas Eve, look at the beautiful poinsettias on each side of our Altar and give thanks to God for the blessing of relationship: relationship with Him through Christ Jesus, and with the cherished people in our lives.
