We are pleased to announce that all events have been posted until the end of the year and we are about to launch a new programme, 'Financial Management for Business Owners'. This is a fantastic initiative led by us and free for Chamber members. Details will follow in a separate newsletter in a few days so please watch out for this.

NETWORKING EVENTS
Staying with a mixture of face-to-face and online networking sessions, all dates and locations have been listed on our website events page HERE. If you'd like to invite someone along to a meeting that hasn't joined us before, we'd be delighted to see them.
FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT FOR BUSINESS OWNERS
As mentioned briefly above, we will be launching a programme in November to assist our members with the financial side of their businesses. The programme comprises of 12 modules including how to grow your business, cash flow, quick win cash strategies, cross-selling, customer acquisition and more. Details will be shared shortly in a separate newsletter.

If you are interested initially in the programme and would have a preference as to whether you'd prefer 12 x 1 hour sessions, or 6 x 2 hour sessions please send your thoughts to jeremy.webb@molevalleychamber.co.uk who is busy putting the finer detail together.
GATWICK DIAMOND BUSINESS AWARDS
The Gatwick Diamond Business Awards for 2022 were launched on 1st October.

The awards ceremony and dinner will be at The Grand Hotel in Brighton on 17th March 2022. The awards are open to all businesses (not just members), located or operating in the Gatwick Diamond, and they are keen to attract wide-range of entries.

To get this going, on 20th October, they are running a free online seminar, ‘How to Win Awards’, led by Donna O’Toole, CEO of August (The Awards Consultancy). Donna is herself a Queen’s Award winner and recognised as one of the UK’s top experts in her field. Details on this seminar are available HERE and details of the ceremony, awards categories and key dates can be viewed HERE.
LOCAL HERITAGE LIST
We would like to draw your attention to a new project by Surrey County Council to draw up a Local Heritage List for Mole Valley. 

Local Heritage Lists can include any building, monument, site, place, area or landscape which has heritage significance but which are not listed buildings or recognised by another designation. The project is seeking to identify and include local heritage assets most valued by their local communities.

Nominations are now open and the deadline is 5pm on Tuesday 16 November.
