#30: LINK Yearbooks and Virtual Autograph Pages
Dear Yearbook Advisor, 

As we navigate through our new normal of virtual learning and living at a distance, we understand our schools are facing many new challenges. Entourage is committed to making your yearbook process as simple and easy as possible with the use of new resources and technology!

Now more than ever, it is important to keep traditions alive related to memorializing the year such as organizing yearbooks and signing yearbooks. LINK yearbooks is your way of keeping tradition and the social experience alive in your community.

In this hint you will learn how to turn on our new e-yearbook platform as well as virtual autograph signing through LINK yearbooks!

Start Your Project
LINK yearbooks is a digital yearbook platform that allows you to interact with your yearbook on all your smart devices. Users can view yearbooks, and sign each other’s yearbooks all online!


To get this activated, go to MANAGE > Manage LINK once logged into your project.

Then hit the LINK YEARBOOKS tab pictured below.

Use the toggles seen below to activate e-yearbook access, public preview of the first 3 pages of your book, and digital autograph signing.
You can also choose to sell your e-Yearbook online using our LINK store. We will suggest a minimum price for you to sell your e-yearbook at, but you can change that in the drop down to be more, or less, or even free of charge! (select do not sell yearbook).

If you would like to charge for your e-Yearbook, make sure you also turn on online yearbook sales for your yearbook from MANAGE > Manage Yearbook Sales > Set Up Online Sales.

Then select the release date that it will become available as seen below in the second red box.
You can also create a trail access code to your e-yearbook as seen above with the blue button. This will allow anyone in your community to interact with the website and sign each other’s yearbooks for up to 60 days. After that the users will be prompted to buy a permanent access code for a one time fee.
Your book account is also allocated permanent access codes for use on LINKYearbooks to view your book online.

The number of access codes allocated is based on the number of books you order. Users can also buy access codes online using e-Yearbook sales (if you choose to sell it). You can download PDFs of your access codes once your book is approved and hand them out to people in your community.

Each access code can be used by one person. If you would like more access codes, you can click the “request more” button.
Once you have everything set up for your LINK yearbook, save the URL at the bottom of the page. This is where your school community will go on the release date of their e-Yearbook to access their e-yearbook and digital autograph pages. 
Using LINK Yearbooks Digital Autograph Pages:
After using the link provided in the above directions, student's will enter their access code either provided by the school or paid for on the LINK site.
After entering the access code, they will be asked to create a LINK yearbooks account or login if they already have an existing account:
Once they have access to the e-Yearbook, they can see the whole yearbook using the Memory Board! If they would like to start setting up their digital Autographs, they can navigate to the autograph tab seen below.

From here they can download their autographs, turn them on or off, and edit their personal autograph code to share with friends:
Once they share their autograph code, their friends can go to the autograph tab in LINK yearbooks and enter each friend's code below to gain access to create a digital autograph in that person's book.
From there, they will be directed to our autograph designer, where they can start creating fun autograph pages for their friends!
