January 9: Power Against Fraud. Presented by Cary Johnson from the Jefferson County 1st Judicial District

January 16: Evergreen Alliance for Sustainability (EAS+Y) fosters local, sustainable solutions for food resources, waste streams and energy use; we look forward to a program on January 16 at Adult Ed. where we will get information that will empower each of us to live more sustainably. If you're wondering how your Christmas tree can be good to the earth, read on.....

Recycle your live holiday tree and give it back to the earth (Lam Tree will turn into mulch). ESA will be at 2 locations in Evergreen on January 8th and January 15th, 2022. Bring your live tree (with all decorations and tinsel removed) to either the vacant lot across from King Soopers in Bergen Park or the Lutheran Church on Hwy 73. Trees will be removed from your car and you'll be on your way. Open 9am-3pm both days and both locations. Donations graciously accepted.
EChO Evergreen Shelter

The Church of the Hills has invited the Shelter to stay OPEN on New Year's Day  in the DAYTIME, so that Guests do not have to leave the Shelter at 7 AM New Year's Morning - with nothing open in town. We have SEVEN EMPTY ON-SITE shifts on Saturday New Year's Day and THREE EMPTY on Thursday 12/30. If we can fill these shifts with volunteers, we can keep the Shelter Guests warm and safe all New Year's Day.
