This shoot is dedicated to honoring Buster Day, Don's Dad and Josh's Grandpa. Buster, an avid hunter and clay shooter owned the land that Silver Willow is located on.

If you haven't noticed it before, there is a memorial plaque which is located between the green course station 10 and the duck pond.
It was perfect shooting weather for the Buster Day True-Pair, Josh did a great job setting up the course. We had a good turn out and are always happy to see how many shooters come out every year in honor of Buster.

Congratulations to Bob Ferguson with a HOA score of 109/120

The Next Generation

Jameson (age 3) is a 5th generation Day living on the family farm. He is driving his little gator with our trusty family labrador (Duchess) heading to the pond.
In the distance is the original Day family homestead. This is where his great great Grandpa Percy Day, homesteaded.
Make A Wheel Difference

Addison Day, Josh's daughter would like to say Thank You to all the generous shooters who donated to "Make A Wheel Difference". This fundraiser is to get wheelchairs for children with disabilities in Kenya. Addison was able to collect $470.00, which is almost enough for one wheelchair. 5 Things: Sporting Clays Tips
I've Learned Along The Way
Part ll

Musings – 5 things –
5 almost completely unrelated things you want to *avoid* or be aware of on the course.

1. Phone addiction. I’m guilty of this, but usually if I’m shooting when on call. I’d like to apologize now to all the shooter’s whose perfect focus was messed up by my call rings or text notifications.

The Paint the Barn Red book project artistically preserved the history of the Mountain View County Barns. The project saw paintings made of 49 iconic barns in the County.
