LCAP Goals for 2021-2024
School districts are required to develop, adopt, and annually update a three-year Local Control Accountability Plan using a template adopted by the California State Board of Education (SBE). Executive Director of Learning and Innovation Priti Johari led this study session and presentation at the May 24 meeting.

The LCAP is a tool to set goals to be achieved for each state priority, plan actions, and leverage resources to improve student outcomes pursuant to Education Code Section 52060. In addition, LEAs are expected to actively engage all stakeholders in the development and revision process. Our District LCAP Advisory Committee and staff have been instrumental and diligently engaging stakeholders in all the stages and development of the 2021-24 District per the statute.

The 2021-24 LCAP Draft includes three broad goals, progress indicators/metrics and actions with proposed expenditures, and budget allocations in direct alignment with eight state priorities.
