This summer we are going to camp!!! We will be attending CentriKid Camps at the University of West Alabama from July 10-14th. This is an overnight camp for children who have completed the 2nd-6th grade. There is an interest meeting coming up on March 19th immediately following the morning service. This meeting will cover the cost of camp, ways we are fundraising, what happens at camp, and more! Please make every effort to attend this meeting.

Egg Your Neighbor!

Don't worry, we aren't actually egging our neighbors! Each child here at RBC will take home a bag filled with Easter Eggs and an invitation to our Spring Party and Easter service. Kids will spread the easter eggs around their neighbor's yard and leave the empty bag with instructions and their invitation on their front porch. This is an egg-citing way to encourage our neighbors to join us this Easter Season!

Summer Kickoff with the Birmingham Barons

To kickoff summer RBC is going to the Birmingham Barons! The game is at 4pm against the Mississippi Braves. Tickets are $10 person or $40 family max. This is a great family outing and sure to be an exciting time! Please be sure to register early so we can get the best group rates!

One of the goals for RBC Kids is helping teach our Kids not just about who God is, but about His word. One of the best ways to learn is through song! I have added the Books of the Bible Song to the RBC website under "Life Stages" -> "Kids" -> "Files," and you can find it HERE. This is a great resource to use as you drive around in the car, during playtime, or even as you get ready! The first half of the song covers the Old Testament books then gives a brief example of what is in each book. The second half of the song covers the New Testament.

I know this is an adjustment, but please abide by our policies!!

Starting on January 1st we began adjusting some of our drop-off and pick-up procedures to ensure the safety of both our own kids and any visitors we have.

Firstly, on Wednesday evenings we have started using the computer check-in system. Kids need to be checked in and wear their name tag while at church.

 Secondly, children are not allowed to leave Sunday School, Children's Worship, or their Wednesday night classes without a verified parent or guardian being present at the door.

*Please be diligent in making sure you are checking in and picking up your children in a timely manner. *

These are procedures already in our child and youth protection policy. We want to be diligent in protecting our kids and visitors so we will slowly begin enforcing more and more of this policy over time until all aspects are part of our normal routine.
