Join us for worship this Sunday, September 20 at 10:25 am on Facebook Live. You do not have to have an account to join us. The video will go live on the church's public Facebook group. If you do not have a Facebook account, a message will pop up asking if you wish to join. You may click, "not now" at the bottom of that message and it will go away. You may then enjoy the video as it plays live. Last week's service is available at the link below.
This Sunday we will have a "dry run" of our virtual Sunday School for Pre-K thru 6th grade. We hope parents will support their children in taking part in this "kick off". A Zoom link will be sent out to all parents in a dedicated email on Friday, September 18. Please click below to join us and give us feedback so we can make adjustments.
JAM Pickup Pizza Party continues next week, September 23, 5:30-6:00 in the church parking lot. We had 40+ kids join us on the first night of this fun, drive thru pizza pickup!! Be sure to register below or on Facebook with your choice of Pepperoni or Cheese pizza and the number of children in your family. We hope to see you there!!!
Devotionals, written by members of the congregation, are emailed twice a week as we continue supporting one another throughout this year. Please contact the church office if you would like to receive them. Thank you to the Adult Faith Formation and the Worship Ministry Teams for supporting this project!
Bibles & Brews continues next Wednesday at a special time from 7:45 to 9:00 pm.  All are welcome to come and participate in this community where we bring scripture passages to share about a group picked topic. Next week's conversation is about "Silver Linings". Contact David Randolph if interested to receive the Zoom link.
Fall is here and so it's time to restart FPC's Congregational Bible Study! This semester we will be discussing a nine week study by Walter Brueggemann about his book, "Interrupting Silence". Books are available for $10. All are welcome! Please contact the church office if interested in learning more.
UKirk Ole Miss is looking for weekly meal providers. Due to COVID-19, of course this semester is looking different, but UKirk is still committed to caring for their students, including through food! For more information, check out ukirkolemiss.org/tuesday-meals, and feel free to email Allison Wehrung ([email protected]) with any questions.
As our church family continues ministering during this season of social isolation, please continue to remember your faithful giving to our church. The ministry of FPC continues to make an impact within our congregation and throughout our community. Bible studies and various small group meetings continue online to enrich our lives through the sharing of scripture; local missional activities continue to care for others like More Than A Meal and Love Packs; partners in mission, like Interfaith Compassion, the pantry, Doors of Hope and more, continue their important work as well and we help make that possible.

There are a variety of ways you can give:

If you need help with any specific ways to give, please contact Frances Saralvarez at [email protected].
The Pantry has a new PayPal link to allow you to make donations more efficiently in this season of social distancing. As you can imagine the longer this situation lasts, the greater the need at the Pantry. Make your donation at: http://paypal.me/pantryoxfordms
The FPC prayer chain is ready if you or someone you know is in need. Please contact Carlisle Wood at [email protected] or 662-832-8606.
All requests are held in strict confidence.
