Books Like Us is a celebration of diversity, harnessing the transformative power of seeing oneself reflected in reading. 
 
Earn points by reading, writing book reviews, and attending virtual library events. Keep track of reading on Beanstack.
 
Challenge is 500 points.
For every badge you unlock, earn a ticket toward our  
Grand Prize Ticket Drawing.
 
Every Monday we will raffle off 3 gift cards to Amazon.
Readers who log their minutes read will be automatically entered to win!

Book Discussion of Snow in August with Michael Bielawa and reflections on Pete Hamill's life. 
7:00 p.m.
 
Celebrated journalist, novelist, essayist and editor Pete Hamill passed in August of this year.  His career as a writer spanned decades.
 
 
He covered politics, sports, and arts in several New York City newspapers and wrote novels, short stories, screenplays, biographies, and memoirs.  
 
Included among his works is the national best-selling novel  
Snow in August. We will briefly revisit Pete Hamill's life and career, followed by a discussion of the book facilitated by baseball historian and author Michael Bielawa.

Fairfield Public Library invites you to help complete our second virtual StickTogether community wide puzzle.

Working together let's see how long it takes to complete this almost 4,000 sticker piece work of art.  
 
 
What will the final picture be?  The only way to find out is to start "sticking."! 
 
Each household may place 50 stickers per day.

Monday Mudras Meditation Sessions with Jesse Rovero
Every Monday at 7:30 p.m. 

Join in by Zoom for a virtual Mudras meditation class by Jesse Rovero. Mudras are hand gestures used during meditation that channel your body's energy flow.
