January 2022 QuickNote
We're excited to announce that on May 1st, we'll be upgrading our systems to bring you the newest technology. The System Upgrade will change a few aspects of your account, so it is very important that you watch for communication with the bright blue and hot pink graphic above. We'll use email, Facebook, and our website to share important details and instructions when actions are needed.

Here are a few things you can do in January to prepare for the System Upgrade:
  • Like and Follow "Quaker Oats Credit Union" on Facebook.
  • Update you and your family's contact information at the credit union.
  • Make sure emails from contactus@quakeroatscu.com are going to your inbox and not your spam or junk.

Want an Even STRONGER Voice?

Run for a board of directors position! Quaker Oats Credit Union has open board of directors positions, and we need you! As a not-for-profit financial cooperative, Quaker's board is comprised of elected members who volunteer their time to represent the entire membership and make decisions on their behalf.

If this is something that you might be interested in, keep reading to learn more!

Time Commitment - Volunteering on the board will require your time commitment, but our board members say they really enjoy it and have made new friends and business contacts! You will be asked to:
  • Serve a 3-year term
  • Attend monthly board meetings
  • Attend the Annual Meeting - this is a fun event!

Experience - Don't let your age or a perceived lack of experience stand in your way of applying for a board position!
  • Everyone has experience and knowledge that will benefit the credit union.
  • MILLENNIALS - WE NEED YOU! - We value the younger generation's perspective to ensure we continue to provide the financial services our younger members are seeking.

Don't miss this amazing learning experience and opportunity to be involved in a not-for-profit board. Any member in good standing and age 18 and older interested in being considered for a position on our board should contact the credit union.
