Hello Huskies!

It has been another fantastic week of learning and events for our community. I really enjoyed watching our girl’s volleyball team play matches on Tuesday and Wednesday night. Our team, led by senior Julia Ramirez, has so much grit and positive energy. They are an inspirational group. A special shout out to Coach Alison and Coach Rachel for their hard work with our team.

I also had the pleasure of spending time with the parents of our senior class. We had an hour-long mixer filled with information sharing and nice conversation about our seniors. I am looking forward to the other grade-level mixers next week and you can find a schedule for upcoming mixers in the section below this letter or on the "Announcements and Events" page of our website.

On deck, this evening and tomorrow is our Visual Arts and Performance Arts event. I was able to watch some of the live performance rehearsals yesterday. The performers I saw during rehearsals were amazing. I cannot wait to see the rest of our performers tonight as well as check out the visual artist pieces. Please come out tonight at 7:00 PM tonight or tomorrow at 2:00 PM to support both our visual artists and our performing artists. I hope to see many of you there.

Go Huskies!

Husky Strong: Annual Report 2020-2021
Each year, we release our annual report to highlight our fundraising efforts and acknowledge the generosity of our community from the previous school year.

Appropriately titled Husky Strong, this report recognizes the resiliency of our community throughout a challenging year. As with most independent schools, our tuition does not cover the cost of our programming and the donations from our community help close that gap and ensure our schools' ability to educate radiant minds for years to come.

Even though parents are not physically on campus at this time due to COVID, there are many ways to connect and get involved. We welcome and encourage you to attend meetings and participate in whatever capacity works for you and your schedule. Volunteering is a great way to get to know the Husky community and your involvement in our events and activities, no matter how much time you are able to give, is greatly appreciated. Please let us know your area of interest by completing the volunteer form below.
The first Family Association meeting of the school year will take place Wednesday, October 13 at 5 pm on Zoom. An invite will be sent an hour before the event starts. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Sue Mathews at [email protected].

Senior Speeches
Phoenix Cai

"During games, I found my personality, and my teammates helped give me a totally different view of myself. They helped me see my weaknesses and how to improve them. They taught me that I can achieve anything if I put all my effort into it, and to try to make each day fun and positive, without a phone or computer to distract me."
