MESSAGE FROM THE PASTORS

Dear Friends,

We both wanted to say a little something to each of you this week, so we are doing a joint article!

Over the next couple of weeks, we will have the opportunity to honor and celebrate some big accomplishments within the lives of some of our young people in the church! On April 30th, our 6th graders will be confirmed and on May 7th, our high school seniors will be honored in a joint baccalaureate service at 10 AM. We hope you will join us as we celebrate both groups' hard work and accomplishments.

This Sunday both of us will be out of town so we will have a special guest preacher that many of you will recognize if you've spent any time around the church: Rev. Charles Pope will be bringing us the Word this weekend. We are excited to have him preach and we know you'll enjoy his message.

Grace and Peace,

Ricky and Katie

CARE NIGHTS

April's Care Nights is scheduled and we are READY to empower and resource all those in our community on how to navigate healthcare with confidence and ease. Join us on April 26th at 6 PM in the worship center as six professionals in the healthcare field will be on site for a night of NAVIGATING HEALTHCARE. These six experts have wise council on subjects such as home care, home health, senior living, behavioral health, hospice and palliative care, and Alzheimer's and dementia.

Please note, the Pastors' bible study will not meet on this night, to allow everyone the opportunity to attend Care Nights.

MINISTRY SPOTLIGHT OF THE WEEK

SO MANY HELPING HANDS

By. Dianne Alford

We would like to give a big shout-out to some of the members of The Beginning Sunday School Class - Bob & Alice Gorman, Pam Stuart, Denise De Rossette, Scott & Cynthia Street, and Earline Kelly. They did an outstanding job polishing the pews, altar, floors, and walls in the sanctuary! On Easter morning everything was glowing due to their labor of love!

Most of you know our Custodian Tim’s plate is overloaded! It would be great in the future, possibly once a quarter, groups could volunteer to deep clean the Sanctuary and Worship Center. Please contact Dianne in the church office if your group would be interested in helping. It’s such a blessing knowing our members love this church and this is one way that WE can to make it even more beautiful.
