In Spring 2022, Global Education will offer the following two courses, both of which will meet on-campus and engage virtually with international partners:
Honduras Sustainable Community Development (3cr)
Students will engage in international development as blended teams of Zamorano University and OSU students. Students will work collaboratively and remotely using problem solving mindsets to investigate, propose, develop and support community-driven development initiatives related to water systems management. Guatemala Service Learning (3cr)
Students will work with in-country partner Mayan Families to develop useful sustainable technologies in fields such as housing, community planning, cultural planning, biogas and solar energy, healthcare, water, sanitation, agriculture, education, and economic development. Students can enroll in this course directly in Buckeye Link, searching for ENGR 5797.22S.
